Collect and send ring pulls

Category: Collectathon

We need your ring pulls!

We recycle the ring pulls from cans of drink into a range of eco-fashion handbags, clothing and accessories. You can collect on your own or with a group of friends, we can never have too many ring pulls so please keep collecting!

At Purple Community, we passionately believe in providing sustainable opportunities so that our beneficiaries can help themselves and their families out of poverty through the acquisition of new skills, education, training and our holistic programmes. We strive to make a difference to those who are in the direst of circumstances.

Our main work is in the Philippines working with the poorest of the poor, families living and working in slums. Together with the community we fund and run our livelihood, education, health and nutrition programmes. Our female artisans earn sustainable, reliable incomes by making beautiful up-cycled products and have the opportunity to start their own business.  We enable unemployed fathers to access skills for the construction industry and public services jobsThe amazing families we work with want to earn a decent income to leave the slums and support their children.

100% of the profit from product sales goes back into our programmes. The artisans products are sold in our shop (p-c-f.org/shop), at PCF events and by our volunteer PPS team.

Cut off the top of a big water bottle, download our ring pull wrap around and stick it around the bottle. Place it anywhere you might find lots of ring pulls such as your work kitchen or canteen and encourage those around to donate their ring pulls too.
