Donate Used Tech and support the Holiday Gift Campaign
Christmas 2020 will be like no other. Pre Covid-19 almost half of children living in Colindale were living in poverty. That’s just one of many statistics across the borough.
Linkey UK, a social enterprise previously set up by Barnet siblings Natasha Langleben and Josh Adley to help the homeless community, is now teaming up with Young Barnet Foundation – to support the much-needed Christmas appeal.
For parents, the thought of their kids waking up on Christmas morning with nothing is heartbreaking, and when they’re already struggling to pay for the essentials, it’s a tremendous pressure. This is where the campaign comes into play. If if you have any new gifts/toys that you can donate – please deliver UNWRAPPED and label them ‘Linkey Young Barnet Xmas appeal’ and drop them at the New Community Support Hub (old East Barnet Library) 85 Brookhill Road, East Barnet EN4 8SG Monday-Friday 9-5.

We are also asking for old tech that we can use to support those who do not have access to digital technology.
At Young Barnet Foundation we believe that children and young people need opportunities for learning and fun, beyond family and formal education, building strong trusted relationships with adults and their peers in the wider community; leading to broadened networks, increased confidence, and life skills. We help to create safer, stronger, more connected communities by supporting Barnet’s Voluntary community and faith sectors working with children/young people.
