How to find a local Food Bank or Night Shelter to support
There are a total of at least 2,083 food banks operating across the UK. The Trussell Trust currently operates over 1200. Each food bank in their network is a local charity, run by a community for their local community and you can use their website to find your nearest food bank here.

Figures released by Crisis.org in April 2019 have shown an ongoing upward trend in officially estimated rough sleeper numbers.The national total has shown a 169 per cent increase since 2010. A copy of the full report can be seen here.
Each year homeless.org publish a full list of winter shelters. To access their list in order to find a local shelter to support please click here.
Please check with your chosen food bank or shelter exactly what items they would like and remember to plan how to deliver the items to them.
Many shelters also look for volunteers to help them prepare and serve food. A simple google search will bring up a huge list of organisations for you to contact and offer your help.
