Mitzvah Day started in the UK, but it is now a truly international movement of collective social action. This year participants volunteered in 41 countries from all around the world supporting the local charities which so desperately need us.
From South America to South Africa, Germany to Brazil – together with Mitzvah Day in England, Scotland, Wales and for the first time, Northern Ireland – the Mitzvah Day message spread across the globe. We put the “world” in the Jewish value of “repairing the world”.
