Help care for Europe’s largest urban wetland as part of Interfaith Week

Go Greener for Mitzvah Day and celebrate National Interfaith week at Walthamstow Wetlands.  On Sunday November 17th please come and help care for Europe’s largest urban wetland!

Join the Team for a day of practical conservation volunteering at the beautiful Walthamstow Wetlands. You could be spending your day chopping down trees, sycthing meadows or building bird boxes. Whatever you do, you will be contributing towards the protection of this vital green space for the wildlife that live there and the people that enjoy it.

Sessions run from 10am – 12noon and 1pm – 3pm….or stay for the whole day!

Sign up is essential:

This event is only open to over 18’s

  •  All equipment and training will be provided and refreshments will be served.
  • Wear old clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and strong stout footwear – old trainers or walking boots are ideal.
